Lots of new faces here (thanks for joining us on this crazy adventure!) and we wanted to take a minute to reintroduce ourselves.

We’re Jonathan and Alexa with Mila 🐶 and Kuno 🐯, and we’ve been living full time in our 32 foot bluebird since July. We first purchased The Sweet Salvation November 2019, 2 months after getting married, began construction December 2019, and had her livable come July 2020. Since then we’ve been putting tons of finishing “homey” touches, and putting all our construction to the test before we take off (hello electrical issues!). Officially hitting the road January 2021, so we’re really coming into the final countdown. Plan is to follow the seasons, south in the winter, north in the summer; other than that it’s our adventure and we don’t want to plan it.

Hi 👋🏽 I’m Lex, and this really feels like I’m creating a dating profile. Things I love- adventure (isn’t that obvious?) and spending time with those I love. I’m also dog mom extraordinaire (at least I say so) and am very passionate about human rights campaigns #BLM, pet adoption #adoptdontshop as well as Muay Thai (how Jonathan and I met!) and fitness in general. Things I’m bad at- eating well. At least my husband claims that my bread addiction is too high, I think his isn’t high enough (what can I say, I’m Italian!). 🚌

Now that you know both of us VERY well, it’s time to meet Mila and Kuno! Mila is our rescue pit who loves to spend time in nature. If you want to see her get the zoomies and take off like an insane Warthog, take her outside. Kuno is our bengal, and is a very naughty boy. Too smart for his own good and rules the bus completely. Yes, even rules pitbull. Beats the crap out of her (watch our stories for the video evidence!). They’ve adjusted nicely to the bus and I know will do amazing on our adventure.

If you’ve made it this far, congrats. Friends and family, we hope you all visit us on the road (we have a pull out sofa bed!) and to the Skoolie community we really hope to meet you all and share an adventure. Nice to meet you all.
