As you can see, the tiny hOMe app-directory is currently more of the backbone to the vision.
A lot of work must be done to fulfill the vision and create a priceless tool for those entering a life of community and travel and small living.
Since fall 2019 Amanda Jones-Archer has worked on this vision solo, with no financial support, as such there are many limitations to the current platform.
She has accepted the limitations, and hopes you see the vision too and thus can overlook the frustrating aspects that will be fixed in version 2.0.
We have decided to look at this project as the first draft - our goal is to find as many of our tribe as possible - and that right now it is basically an interview process between contributors and Amanda as the visionary in who should be invited in participating in the next version of the platform.
Version 2.0 will improve on many of the issues, be much more automated and be more user friendly, but we have to start somewhere.
You are invited to Cocreate with us.
You are invited to add listings to any category, including adding vendors and their affiliate links so you can hopefully make independent commissions off sales made through the app. You can find more about our ranking system under crew- rank info.
You are invited to give input on what you'd like to see in version 2.0.
You are invited to participate in whatever capacity inspires you.
It is apparent that often people tend to feel like if they can't dedicate a huge portion of their lives to a project, it isn't worth contributing any time, however, here at WANDERING FOOTPRINT we have a different philosophy. 1% is better than 0%. If you can only donate 10 minutes of your time each week, that's more than nothing and we would be happy to accept your contribution.
To get involved:
Please start with adding yourself to the app in any category (if you need a new category let us know) and then adding your profile to the Padawon section of the ranks. Information about ranks can be found in the crew section. Please reach out with any questions or clarification. You are not bugging us, we are grateful you are here, please just be patient with our response time.
